Jincai Fan and Jingxuan Liu named among Poets & Quants’ Best & Brightest MBAs 2026
We are proud to share that two members of the CEIBS MBA Class of 2026, Jincai Fan and Jingxuan Liu, have both been named to Poets & Quants’ Best & Brightest MBAs list for 2026.
The Best & Brightest MBAs list, published annually by Poets & Quants, profiles 100 graduating MBAs from leading business schools worldwide. The list honours students who have distinguished themselves through academic excellence, professional achievement and meaningful contribution to their cohorts and communities.
Jincai Fan — leading by lifting others
A Sichuan native and University of Nottingham graduate in Finance, Accounting and Management, Jincai came to CEIBS as the youngest Senior Director at a Chinese Tech Startup, where he led the product design and GTM strategy. He chose CEIBS to pair his China-market depth with the global, cross-cultural breadth he would need to step into an in-house leadership role within a multinational — a transition he completed when he secured a place through Leadership Development Programme. He will join top global pharmaceutical organisation as Senior Manager, MarTech.
At CEIBS, Jincai served as Marketing Co-Chair on the Student Committee and as Marketing and Sponsorship Co-Lead for TEDx 2026. Tasked with bringing the cohort’s class slogan, “Together Stronger”, to life, he orchestrated five flagship campus events and many smaller gatherings designed to dissolve the early reserve of an ambitious, busy group of professionals. He was recognised by his peers and the programme with the MBA 2026 Student Leader Award and the MBA 2026 Contribution Award, and was named a Wu Jinglian Business Leadership Scholar and an L.Y Global Leadership Scholar during his studies.
Outside the classroom, Jincai has spent several years in grassroots community building in Shenzhen — an experience he credits with shaping his view that the highest form of leadership is creating environments in which others can contribute, connect and thrive.
I feel incredibly honored to be awarded this recognition. My sincere gratitude goes to CEIBS, my respected professors, and all my wonderful classmates. Thank you for accompanying me throughout this remarkable MBA journey and making it such a precious and inspiring experience.

Jingxuan Liu — bridging law, business and AI
Jingxuan came to CEIBS with a strong cross-border legal foundation, having read law at East China University of Political Science and Law before completing a Master of Laws at Georgetown University Law Center, and most recently practising at Shanghai He Ping Law Firm. He chose CEIBS to develop a more holistic view of how companies make decisions, create value and execute strategy beyond the legal frameworks within which his earlier work had sat.
As President of the MBA Student Committee, Jingxuan served a cohort of more than 100 classmates, establishing a regular operating cadence, gathering structured feedback through cohort-wide surveys and translating it into proposals to strengthen communication between students and the school. Beyond the committee, he initiated and led a global exchange playbook for future CEIBS MBA students — turning fragmented, anecdotal experiences into a structured, reusable resource that will support around 100 students each year in making informed exchange decisions.
His own entrepreneurial work during the programme included founding Shanghai Complisail Technology Co., Ltd. and building an AI-powered legal question-and-answer platform, which he shared with classmates through a small workshop. Upon graduation, he was granted the Dean’s List Award for outstanding academic performance and the MBA Outstanding Graduate Award for his significant contribution to the CEIBS community. He returns to legal practice as a lawyer at Global Law Office in Shanghai, with the longer-term ambition of pioneering the application of AI to legal services.
I'm truly honored to receive this recognition, and I'm grateful to CEIBS, my professors, and my classmates for making this MBA journey so meaningful and inspiring.

A shared recognition
In her endorsement of both students for the Best & Brightest list, Lingling Zhang, Associate Dean and Director of the MBA Programme at CEIBS, returned to the same underlying quality: a leadership style that creates lasting value for others. Jingxuan, she noted, consistently turned individual effort into collective benefit. Jincai, in her words, evolved through his time at CEIBS into a deeply empathetic community architect who lifted those around him.
Please join us in congratulating Jingxuan and Jincai — two clear representatives of the CEIBS MBA’s commitment to shaping responsible, globally minded leaders.
