The CEIBS Lujiazui International Institute of Finance (CLIIF) launched the 2026 Global Asset Management Centre Evaluation Index today at the CLF50 Annual Meeting. The Index places New York first with a score of 93.62, followed by London at 88.04 and Shanghai at 87.05. Shanghai moved up two places from fifth in 2025, entering the Index’s global top three for the first time and becoming the highest-ranked city in Asia, while London climbed from third to second.

On June 29, 2026, CEIBS hosted the 9th CEIBS Accounting and Finance Symposium at its Shanghai campus, bringing together more than 80 scholars from leading universities across the United States, Europe, and Asia. February 10, 2026. Shanghai — The CEIBS–APS Centre for Financial Markets (CAC) was officially inaugurated today on CEIBS’ Shanghai campus. The centre is jointly established by China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) and Singapore-based APS Asset Management (APS). 

The 8th CEIBS Finance and Accounting Symposium was held on June 27, 2025, at the CEIBS Shanghai campus. The event brought together more than 80 scholars from top universities in the US, Europe, and Asia to discuss current issues at the intersection of finance, accounting, economics, and politics.

June 18, 2024. Shanghai - The 7th CEIBS Finance and Accounting Symposium was held at the CEIBS Shanghai campus on June 18, 2024, with the theme "Current Topics in Accounting", bringing together more than 100 scholars from top universities in the US, Europe, and Asia to discuss current issues at the intersection of accounting, finance, economics, and politics.

On July 2nd 2023, the CEIBS Global EMBA hosted its second annual symposium, providing a very welcome return to live events after the years of pandemic-related disruption. Bringing together nearly 300 CEIBS current students, alumni, faculty members as well as guest panellists and speakers, this event gave everyone in attendance the chance to consider how China will adapt to the new economic realities of the post-covid world.

Covering subjects as diverse as brand development in China, sector-specific innovation methods and the role of international collaboration in promoting stability, the symposium presented a snapshot of the key issues, challenges and opportunities China faces right now as it settles into its expanding global role.
